EyesOn Design to introduce Interiors Award at 
North American International Auto Show
Interiors category added to EyesOn Design at NAIAS

 
December 1, 2014 - Detroit, Michigan -EyesOn Design will unveil its fourth major category - for Best Designed Interior -- at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
 
The award, which honors the best designed interior on a concept or production vehicle unveiled at the Detroit show, is sponsored by the ABC Group, a world-class automotive parts supplier based in Toronto.
 
The new interior award joins the EyesOn Design Awards for Best Concept Vehicle, Best Production Vehicle and Innovative Use of Color, Graphics and Materials.
 
Unique among automotive honors, the EyesOn Design Awards are selected by a distinguished group of active and retired design heads of automotive OEMs, transportation design chairs from top art schools and noted designers in related fields.
 
After this judges' panel considers all of the nominees, they are reviewed by the chief judges which include Dave Marek (Acura Global Creative Director), Steve Pasteiner (Founder/Owner, Advanced Automotive Technologies), Stu Reed (Transportation Design Chair, Art Center College, Pasadena) and Jack Telnack (retired Vice President of Design, Ford Motor Company).
 
The awards are given to the best examples in their categories of the vehicles making their North American or worldwide debut at the Detroit auto show. 
 
EyesOn Design will also present its Designer Catalyst Award to Bob Lutz during the awards ceremony, which begins at 4 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2015 in the Cobo Center Atrium.
